About Us
It all began twenty-some years ago when our founder, Philip Ehrman, IV, was eight years old. His parents (now partners in the business today) decided to build a house. Phil and his brother, Ray, and cousin, Zach, watched the process closely, and even got to ride in an excavator on the worksite. From what seemed to be an immense hole in the ground, to the concrete basement walls being poured, to the framing reaching skyward, and later to the roofing crew sliding down the steeply pitched slopes on carpet pads, it all seemed to be such an adventure.
Phil and some of his buddies enrolled in C4 courses in high school, and from there, a career in construction was born. Phil started flipping houses and the company just took off.
Now, the parent company, Benchmark Construction, LLC, still runs a few new-construction projects each year, but the focus has turned towards kitchen and bath renovations with a highly skilled design time leading the way.

Owner
Phil has been involved in the construction industry since his high school days and is the driving force behind iN Style Kitchen & Bath – a local, family-owned and operated one-stop shop for all of your remodeling needs. Phil’s number one focus in all that he does is 100% customer satisfaction.
Jess
Designer
Jess is our most experienced designer on staff and has been with iN Style since 2019. She is an award-winning expert in design and has had the honor of having some of her spaces published locally and nationally. She is excited to help clients visualize spaces that help improve their quality of life. She currently sits as Indiana State NKBA Chapter president.
Bailey
Designer
Bailey has been with iN Style Kitchen & Bath since graduating from Indiana State University’s Interior Architecture Design Program in 2021. She has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field and strives to offer her clients product education and honest guidance, providing the best options to fit their needs and budget. Bailey’s number one goal is to make the remodel process a stress-free and enjoyable experience.
Tim
Project Manager
Tim is an Army veteran with lifelong interest and experience in the construction industry. He will be your go-to team member when your project is underway.
Michael
Designer
After graduating from Indiana State University’s Interior Architecture Design Program, Michael launched his design career with iN Style Kitchen & Bath. Since joining the team, Michael has worked on multiple whole-house remodels, kitchens, and baths. Michael comes with ample customer service experience and an abundance of fresh ideas and is excited to help you with your next project.
Kit
Owner
Kit fills several different rolls including purchaser, part-time designer, and new construction specialist. She is an award-winning designer with several remodel and new construction projects published locally. She is blessed to be a work “mom” for such a super iN Style team.
Mark
Estimator
Mark is part of our support staff and assists with all of the quoting in house. He brings his many years of construction experience and customer service to the table and is a valuable team member.
Wesley
Receiving
Wesley keeps our warehouse in an orderly fashion. Not only does he receive and organize all the orders, he also delivers all project materials to our job sites. While tiny in stature, he is a mighty asset to our team.
Matt
Project Manager
Matt is our newest project manager whose passion is problem solving. His enthusiasm for getting the job done right is infectious. He loves being a part of creating beautiful spaces and customer service is his primary focus. We are thrilled to have him as part of our team.
Michael
Estimator
Michael has a wealth of construction knowledge and is putting his expertise to good use in his estimating role. His attention to detail comes in handy as he gathers labor and material bids and puts together orders once a job goes active. We are excited to have in on our team.
Jill
Staff Accountant
Jill keeps all company and project finances in order and up to date and helps keep everyone organized.
